About the film

The feature documentary follows Grammy-nominated music producer, DJ and marine toxicologist, Jayda Guy,  as she brings together music and science to uncover what could be our greatest weapon in the fight against climate change: blue carbon.

As the existential threat of climate change looms large, the film explores the untold power of blue carbon to protect and restore vital ecosystems – providing a much-needed ray of hope.

Filmed in the USA, Senegal, Vietnam, France, Colombia and Brazil, Blue Carbon shows stunning encounters with the natural world and spotlights the local leaders at the heart of coastal conservation.
